Islander Motel LLC

We have stayed at The Islander Motel for a number of years and have always had a wonderful time. The owners are so friendly and accommodating and the rooms are very clean, spacious and nice. The beach is only a short block and a half away. There are a number of restaurants within a few blocks of the motel. Great place to stay.

The location is perfect, only a short walk from the beach and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Joe is the sweetest, he gave us great tips for food and things to do. Beach badges are included! This was an amazing and affordable stay in LBI, will be back next year for sure!

My family has been staying at The Islander for years and now my boyfriend and I come every year. The rooms are clean and comes with beach passes (other motels on the island make you rent them). You can’t beat the location either, walking distance from bagels, icecream, beach, bay, dinner, etc. The owner Joe and his family are the best, he gave us a lock for our bikes and has books that he let me take to the beach for a few days. I would recommend this place to anyone, not to mention the best price on the island. We are already excited for our trip next year!

Love this motel! We’ve stayed once before and the owner was fantastic! Have been trying to get in contact about booking a room for my son’s birthday this summer but the voicemail is full!! Other than the hard time reaching them, this place is great!

The Islander Motel is a hidden gem on LBI. Joe made a great first impression when I called to make the reservation, and he continued to impress throughout, including when he called to let me know our room was ready a bit early. We booked the efficiency room for a family of four. It was bigger than I expected. The kitchen setup includes a full-sized refrigerator, cupboards with plates, cups and bowls, cutlery, towels, and a two burner stove top. The room was very clean, beds comfy, and bathroom had a large pedestal sink with space to put toiletries. There are outdoor chairs in front of the room which were helpful to dry towels and bathing suits. In the common outdoor space there’s a hose to wash off boogey boards, and outdoor shower, and beach toys. The room also came with beach passes! Location wise it’s very good. Super short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to Shore Good Donuts. Overall, I could not recommend this motel enough. An amazing value and wonderful experience. I would give it ten stars if I could

Worried about staying in a motel for the first time? So was I, but this was the best experience I could imagine. The room was impeccably clean upon arrival, the owner Joe was kind and offered different local tips and tricks, and beach badges are included for your use which saves you a ton of time and money. Thank you Joe and the Islander Motel team for making this a very seamless process. While we only stayed for 1 night, this motel is walking distance from shops, a confidence store, and the beach (most importantly). Need to get away? Call Joe and he will take great care of you!

Impeccable service, super clean motel right in Ship Bottom. You can tell this is a family owned business that is constantly given TLC. Bathrooms and flooring looked new. Owner is as nice as can be, and our room had a kitchen which was incredibly convenient. We don't want to book an entire week, we like booking short trips here and there. Booked with family and the owner made sure all our rooms were next to eachother. Rooms each came with beach badges. Walking distance to coffee, donuts, and mult. Shops and restaurants. What more could you ask for?
